Prayer Books

A couple months ago I picked up a prayer book so that I could pray without needing to open a website or pdf. It’s been great and I think you should definitely pick one up if you’re in the same boat. I personally recommend the following books:

• Antiochian Pocket Prayer Book
• Newrome Press Prayer Book (travel version)
• Holy Transfiguration Monastery Prayer Book
• Jordanville Prayer Book

Although I don’t own the Jordanville book, it’s the de facto Slavic usage book and I haven’t heard anything bad about it. If you’re looking to flesh out your prayer life, look into praying the Hours and Psalter and reading the lives of the Saints.
